I grew up around agriculture on a farm and in a farming community. I expanded on that when I attended NDSU achieving my degree in Ag Economics and finance. Before coming to Thunder Seed, I worked as an Agricultural Lender for many years.
My husband, Paul Adams, is one of the owners of Thunder Seed, along with Brian, Lora, and Merlyn Petermann and Steve Tobolt. I joined on in 2012 when the company began expanding further into the Midwest states and heavily into Canada. I saw an opportunity to work for our family business and grow something special together. One thing that makes it so special is that everything Thunder Seed sells is first grown on our owners’ farms to ensure it is the best it can be before it ends up on your farm.
Something people don’t know about you: I am a black belt in karate. Just kidding. I’m not. I’m pretty much an open book, so I can’t think of anything people don’t know.
Fun memory with a dealer/grower referring to Thunder Seed: My favorite memories with Thunder Seed have been our large gatherings, whether it’s a “Bus Tour” across the Midwest, or on a beach somewhere – I have been blessed to meet some of the greatest people! Dealers and growers have become much more than business partners – they have become family, and that means the world to me!
