Thunder Seed Krista Jansen

FARGO, ND – (November 2, 2018) Thunder Seed is excited to announce that after four years in Grower Service and Marketing, Krista Jansen has decided to switch things up a bit as she takes on a new role as Retail Sales Manager. In this new role, Jansen will be growing and creating relationships directly with farmers to find them the best hybrids and varieties for their farms for high yielding results.

When asking Krista what she loves most about working for Thunder Seed, she struggled to pick just one answer. She loves that Thunder Seed is a farmer owned company, and all of the owners test the varieties on their own personal farms before ever choosing the product to be sold in a Thunder Seed Bag. She added, “They are a trusted company with a big emphasis on family values, and an energetic and fun team to work with.”

As far as her background in the industry, Jansen was born and raised on her family farm in Ada Minnesota, where she was very active in 4-H and FFA growing up. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Agriculture Communications. While in school, Jansen passion never slowed down, she worked four years with ND State Seed and interned for two years with another regional seed company before joining forces with Thunder Seed.

Jansen was recently married September of this year and has a major love for dogs, hunting, being on the farm, lake life and baking!! With all of the new exciting things happening in her life, Jansen cannot wait to start her new role with Thunder Seed!
